Charles Hoskinson Says That “Ghost Chain” FUD About Cardano Chain Is Back

Charles Hoskinson took to Twitter to notify his army of followers that the fallout from reports about the Cardano testnet being “catastrophically broken” has reached a new level.
Charles Hoskinson Says That “Ghost Chain” FUD About Cardano Chain Is Back

According to the IOG founder, social media influencers are now spreading this misinformation to big groups of people.

He specifically sent a tweet with a TikTok video of a guy with over 600,000 followers discussing Cardano, indicating that people are losing faith in this blockchain.

The TikToker claims that “for a project that has a market cap as high as it has, Cardano does not have much to show for it”. The man points out that the Cardano team has a fantastic vision, but they are not building anything. Finally, the “influencer” claimed that Solana is a “much more functional blockchain and a much more functional platform than Cardano has ever even gotten close to being”.

Hoskinson, sadly, tweeted that influencers are now spreading shallow information to “massive networks of people,” and what was recently described as a “catastrophic bug” for Cardano is now being paired with a “ghost chain,” i.e. accusations that poured onto Cardano earlier this year, claiming that nothing is being developed on this platform.

According to Charles Hoskinson, these “30 seconds of lies” were disseminated for the purpose of engagement farming. He also reminded some commentators of Cardano’s accomplishments this year:

Ten days ago, famous Cardano engineer Adam Dean tweeted about a recently discovered problem that rendered the Vasil node 1.35.2 “catastrophically broken.” This tweet triggered a heated debate in the community, with some accusing Cardano of having such flaws before a testnet launch, which is unacceptable for a prominent blockchain like Cardano.

However, Charles Hoskinson on Friday updated the situation that Vasil is in progress and will be launched in September. The community is also looking forward to Cardano’s long-delayed update.
