The Bahrain telecom operator, recently announced in a statement that it now takes cryptocurrency, claiming to be the first in the nation to do so. According to the announcement, the company has also partnered with payment service provider Eazy Financial Services. According to the release, this collaboration enables customers to settle their bills using the Binance wallet.

Commenting on the relationship with Eazy Financial Services, Nezar Banabeela, the CEO, said: Rapid digitalization around the globe is affecting all parts of our life, and payments are the most critical factor. Almost every digital activity, from online buying and video streaming to money transfers, is dependent on a payment mechanism.

Meanwhile, Nayef Tawfiq Al Alawi, the founder and CEO of Eazy Financial Services, stated that the collaboration arrangement allows the telecom operator to accept cryptocurrency payments “in a regulated, secure, and exceptionally rapid manner.
