Will ApeCoin Have Its Own Chain? $APE Is Now Accepted by Over 19,000 dApps and Games on Polygon Ecosystem

ApeCoin Is Now Available on Polygon Ecosystem

After the recent Yuga Labs’ Otherdeeds NFTs minting issue, which sparked suspicion of a new chain for APE, ApeCoin announced its integration with the Polygon ecosystem. With the addition of ApeCoin to Polygon Ecosystems, the $APE Token is now accepted by over 19,000 dApps and games!

Yuga Labs, the creators of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection, started minting Otherdeeds NFT land on Sunday. With an anticipated $300 million in sales, the launch received enormous support from its community. Despite this, the launch experienced a number of difficulties, including raising ETH gas fees to previously unheard-of levels, requiring users to spend between 2 and 5 ETH for gas.

As a result, customers who were unable to mint NFTs but still had to pay ETH gas costs were angry and vented their frustrations on Twitter, with some even declaring their withdrawal from APE-related investments.

While Yuga Labs pledged to refund their gas, several users suspected that the failure was part of a marketing trick to draw attention to an issue before launching a new APE chain. An ApeCoin DAO spokesperson, on the other hand, denies this.

Yat Siu, one of these DAO board members, stated that there was no discussion concerning the idea of an APE chain among the DAO’s board members or with other parties.
