Ethereum surpasses $2K, ADA rises 20% as the crypto market uptrend
Ethereum has increased more than 10% in 24 hours to reach $2,000 today. Ethereum was traded at the US $1,985 at the time of writing.
The world’s second-largest cryptocurrency hit its lowest level of US $1,721 last Friday after an error was spotted on the Beacon Chain.
Bitcoin also had a solid weekly start as it gained 7% to trade above the US $31,000 for the first time since mid-May and was changed to the US $31,611 at the time of writing.
The top 10 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization in CoinGecko’s rankings have risen by at least 5% in the last 24 hours.
Cardano led the way with a nearly 20% increase in the last 24 hours following the launch of the Iagon cross-chain, allowing USDC and ERC-20 to run on Cardano.
ADA was traded at $0.5787 at writing, the highest level in the past two weeks.
Cryptocurrency market capitalization was wiped out by more than 30% in early May amid the collapse of the stablecoin TerraUSD (UST) project.
