Jack Dorsey’s Block Is Expanding Human Resources On Bitcoin Mining And Wallet
Block is on a recruiting frenzy to expand its Bitcoin mining and wallet hardware operations.
According to many job advertisements on LinkedIn in the last two weeks, the firm is looking for heads of Bitcoin mining policy, communications, and partnerships.
In a job posting on LinkedIn for a test hub lead, the company stated that its mining team creates Bitcoin mining ASIC, Bitcoin mining rig, and associated systems, software, and infrastructure.
According to the advertisement, the test hub would host Block’s mining gear and will be utilized to test the hardware and software as well as the overall operational issues (power, cooling, dust, restart, performance monitoring, pool communication) of the mining system.
In addition, the company is looking for the product and technical skills to design the next generation of mining ASIC and to build its first mining rig and future mining rig product lines. It also contains a few jobs associated with wallet design. This past spring, Block unveiled its Bitcoin hardware wallet.
Block, formerly known as Square and founded by Jack Dorsey, has placed a large investment in Bitcoin and decentralized money.
