Many Small Businesses Looks Crypto Payment As A Natural Evolution In 2022

In 2022, over a quarter of small companies in nine nations aim to have a plan for crypto payments.

According to a Visa Inc. survey of 2,250 small company owners conducted in nine countries, including the United States, Germany, Ireland, Singapore, and Canada, cryptocurrencies are beginning to be used as a form of payment. Visa Inc. also polled 1,000 persons in the United States, as well as 500 adults in each of the nine nations, and found that 13% expect retail stores to start accepting cryptocurrency payments as soon as possible.

“I think more people are feeling more confident with crypto,” told Jeni Mundy, Visa’s global head of merchant sales and acquiring.

According to this survey, in the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Brazil, more than 30% of small business retailers plan to offer customers the crypto payment option in the coming months. In comparison, just 8% of small businesses in Canada and 19% in the United States intend to accept Bitcoin as a payment option in 2022.

Many small businesses are adding new types of digital payments, and many see crypto payment as an obvious step on their growth path.
