Binance Labs Invests $4 Million In Web3 Platform Ultimate Champions
Binance Labs announced it has made a $4 million strategic investment in Web3 sports game platform Ultimate Champions, a free-to-play fantasy sports platform that will be deployed on the BNB Chain.
Yi He, Co-Founder of Binance and Head of Binance Labs, stated:
“The world of Web3 gaming is expanding and Binance Labs is looking for Web3 gaming projects that have missions of providing real entertainment to the users rather than the ones focusing on giving out more opportunities to ‘earn’.”
Ultimate Champions is a free-to-play fantasy sports platform that will be deployed on the BNB Chain. Players can collect, trade, and own officially licensed player cards as NFTs.
The fund will be used to further develop its games, secure additional sports partnerships, and grow its community.
The biggest professional basketball management firm in Europe, EuroLeague, has also begun an exclusive agreement with Ultimate Champions, which will grow into fantasy basketball the following year.
