Late on Monday morning, King announced the company’s Bitcoin. The public address of the funds was then disclosed by him.

The Osprey trust’s assets under management (AUM) are just about $46 million, compared to the $10.5 billion held by the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC). Each fund trades at a discount of at least 40% to its net asset value (NAV).

Contrary to Osprey, Grayscale chose not to reveal its public address due to security concerns, but it did provide a letter from its custodian Coinbase confirming the security of all assets held there for Grayscale and stating that holdings are accurately reflected in Grayscale’s various public and private findings.
