The two companies are working together on a merchandising line, using both brands’ intellectual property (IP) to create hoodies, T-shirts, and wristbands. A percentage of the revenues will be contributed to the Global Fund, an organization devoted to fighting AIDS using resources.

According to a news release, Peter Gould, Alright Bears’ Chief Communications Officer, noted that the NFT collection marks a major cultural shift in the industry since it uses NFTs to fuel charity.

“We’re proud to collaborate with (RED) and build on our shared history of using merchandise and digital collectables to combat the most important human rights issues of our time,” Gould added.

Okay Bears has been working hard to grow its intellectual property into collaborations and real-world experiences. In July, the collection announced a collaboration with entertainment giant IMG to launch new products. The agreement makes IMG the sole global licensing representative for the community-focused initiative, which comprises 10,000 well-dressed bears offered as PFP NFTs.

In August, Alright Bears launched the first airdrop for these NFT holders, each receiving a unique digital collectible called Founders Coin. Founders Coin, on the other hand, offers a unique feature in that users may swap NFT for the appropriate gold value. Each NFT will be randomly connected with a gold weight of 0.25, 0.5, 1, 5, or 10g.

Okay Bears is one of the most popular Solana-based projects on the network. Its floor price is around 66.5 SOL at the time of writing.
