According to Wu, the official Twitter account of CertiK, a security auditing company, has been compromised, and attackers are using it to post phishing links.

Users are at risk of having their wallet funds stolen. The incident follows a recent discovery that the Discord on CertiK’s official website was replaced with a fake one containing phishing links.

CertiK Twitter Hacked, User Funds in Danger

CertiK Alert, the official announcement channel, has confirmed that they are investigating a compromise of their CertiK X account. They are advising users to refrain from interacting with any posts until the security of the account is confirmed.

Interestingly, just minutes before the hack, the CertiK Security Leaderboard tweeted, “Something’s cooking in the #crypto space, and it smells like progress!” This raises speculations about a possible connection between the tweet and the security breach.
