Age-of-Z (AOZ) is operated by Metaverz Studio and is an early movement that harnessed the power of indivisible tokens (NFTs) to create a decentralized community that lives inside and out. With a rich storyline inspired by Eric Hughes’ 1993 A Cypherpunk Manifesto, the owners of 1,993 hand-drawn biopics will team up to build a self-sufficient digital world and reclaim their autonomy.

On December 15, at 8 a.m. UTC, the official public coinage of 1,500 AOZ NFT began. Every citizen can join the world of Punkixel and create Punk-Pixels in the process. Their actions not only bring them personal wealth, but also add value to the places where they live. But with great power comes great responsibility as alien enemies are drawn to these spheres of influence and act maliciously to destroy the hard-earned pixel world that remains unsupervised. Players must rely on their own skills and weapons to fend off wild hoarders by submitting artwork and favoring other citizens to vote for their pieces. The selected work of art is added to the world and forms a layer of defense against intruders.
