How does it work?
- On February 25th, they’ll refund the gas fees that you spend on successful approvals for the first 10 collections after block 14217010 (2022/02/16 12PM UTC), up to 0.004 ETH per approval. That means a maximum of 0.04 ETH sent back to your wallet!
- To receive the rebate, you need to list at least one NFT from each collection that you approve for sale.
- The rebate program will run for 7 days and the first 200,000 approval transactions within this time period will receive the rebate! Only the first 10 approvals for each address will count toward the 200,000 total.
- Once the program ends after 7 days at block 14262840 (2022/02/23 12PM UTC), the LooksRare team will manually distribute your rebate to your address. No claiming required!
What is a Collection Approval?
To list an NFT on LooksRare, you first need to make a one-time transaction to approve the collection for sale, which costs some gas fees as it’s an on-chain transaction. It usually costs between $10-$20 per collection depending on the ETH price and how high gas usage is at the time.
Once you successfully approve a collection for sale, you’ll be able to list any items in the collection for sale on LooksRare for FREE! Only the buyer will need to pay gas fees when they purchase your NFT. So you can list NFTs for free and if they sell, then you earn LOOKS rewards too.
