Whales With $1.19 Billion SHIB Invest In Trendy Coins, But This Investor Prefers Shiba

Two whales who collectively own about 1.2 trillion SHIB tokens have added a few additional hot coins to their holdings. “Gimli” and “Bombur,” the two investors, have already purchased significant amounts of SHIB.

Meanwhile, another significant ETH whale has purchased 57.9 billion Shiba, making it the second largest meme coin.

LINK and APE are being purchased by SHIB whales

Two whales, “Gimli” and “Bombur,” whose wallets are named after characters from J.R.R. Tolkien’s works, have been rumored to be increasing their crypto holdings and adding other fashionable coins to their wealth.

They hold a total of $1.1 million in these coins between them. “Bombur” took 55,188 APE valued $1,189,317. 114,990 Chainlink was purchased for $1,463,822 by “Gimli.”

Unlike other major ETH whales who buy SHIB and sell it very soon, these two are keeping their meme tokens—at least for the time being. This address holds $14,988,495 worth of SHIB in “Bombur’s” wallet, accounting for 4.12% of the portfolio.

Shiba Inu worth $12,347,908 is held in the “Gimli” wallet, accounting for 21.06 percent of the cryptocurrency portfolio. A total of 1,193,181,818,181 Shiba Inus are owned by these investors.

“BlueWhale0098” is another huge investor that purchased a significant amount of APE earlier today.

He’s bought around 167.6 million APE worth $3.6 million in three deals. According to the page of his wallet on WhaleStats, ApeCoin is this investor’s largest crypto asset, accounting for 64 percent of his crypto wealth.

Another whale makes a 58 billion SHIB purchase

In the meantime, another investor has scooped up a massive number of Shiba. The whale “BlueWhale0073” took a combined 57,979,293,909 SHIB—the equivalent of $1,334,683—thirteen hours ago.

However, most of this Shiba hoard has already been sold, as his 0x66e092fd00c4e4eb5bd20f5392c1902d738ae7bc contained just $107,000 worth of SHIB as of press time.
