In 2009, just a day before Bitcoin’s creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, sent 10 BTC to his address, Finney tweeted “Running bitcoin.” Notably, Finney made significant contributions to the Bitcoin protocol, becoming the first developer, apart from Satoshi himself, to utilize and enhance it.
