Amber Group’s Co-Founder Passed Away
Tiantian Kullander, the talented Amber Group co-founder, died suddenly at the age of 30 in the midst of many people’s grief.
Tiantian Kullander, co-founder of Amber Group, died unexpectedly on November 23, leaving behind his wife and two young children.
Kullander, also known as TT, founded Amber Group in 2017 and has grown it into a major cryptocurrency market maker worth $3 billion as of its most recent funding round. In 2017, he also worked at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
According to the Singapore-based company:

His extensive knowledge, eagerness to collaborate, and desire to always assist others have benefited countless startups and individuals. Many projects, people, and communities have been inspired by his insights and creativity. In every stage of development, he puts his heart and soul into the company. You demonstrate wisdom, generosity, humility, diligence, and creativity.”
Kullander also serves on the board of Fnatic, an e-sports company, and is the creator of KeeperDAO, a decentralized financial protocol for trading, borrowing, and staking.
Kullander previously worked in Goldman Sachs’ credit trading division and as an emerging market trader at Morgan Stanley. In 2019, he was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, which recognizes the brightest entrepreneurs, leaders, and rising stars.
The community was in mourning prior to this loss. According to Arthur Cheong, founder of DeFiance Capital, the cryptocurrency industry has lost a young, bright soul and a good person.

Tom C., co-founder of Charm Finance, also expressed his condolences on the death of the talented Kullander, stating that “TT is one of the most genuine and talented people he has ever known.”
Nikolai Mushegian, an important developer in the history of MakerDAO and stablecoin DAI, died unexpectedly earlier this month at the age of 29. However, the departure of these talented individuals has resulted in numerous losses for Amber Group, the platform itself, their company, and the crypto industry as a whole.
