According to the statement from the crypto exchange Binance, Open Campus (EDU) has become the 31st project to be launched on Binance Launchpad. The token sale for Open Campus will follow the Launchpad subscription format, with the recording of user BNB balances starting at 2023-04-23 00:00 (UTC).

This is an educational project with many Chinese partners, such as Animoca Sandbox and Hooked. The official website does not even have information on investors and teams.

Here are the specifics of this launchpad:

  • Preparation Period 2023-04-23 00:00 (UTC) to 2023-04-28 00:00 (UTC): User BNB balances will be computed in hourly snapshots for each day over a five-day period at this time. The maximum amount of BNB that users may commit later will be determined by their final average daily BNB balance over these five days.
  • Subscription Period 2023-04-28 06:00 (UTC) to 2023-04-28 09:00 (UTC): A three-hour subscription period will begin at this moment for all eligible users. Before pledging their BNB, users must additionally sign the Token Purchase Agreement.
  • Calculation Period 2023-04-28 09:00 (UTC) to 2023-04-28 10:00 (UTC): Subscription closes, and token allocation calculation starts.
  • Final Token Distribution 2023-04-28 10:00 (UTC): The final token allotment for users will be determined, and the relevant BNB amount will be subtracted from their already-locked BNB amount. Their EDU and BNB tokens will be sent to their spot wallet once.

Immediately after the launchpad news was announced, BNB jumped more than 5% and is currently trading at $329.6.
