Total crypto market cap has hit a new record as both ETH and BTC hit new highs, with ADA up 12% in the past 24 hours. Bitcoin managed to hit a new low of $ 67,000 and hit a new high of $ 69,000 in less than three weeks, and Ethereum followed suit and hit a new high at the same time. Cardano hit a new high as it rose 12% overnight. Three days ago, the main cryptocurrency was struggling with around $ 60,000 and the community wondered if it would stay above that level for much longer. A lot could change in the market over the next few days as instead of falling below $ 60,000, BTC struck and began to rise rapidly.
Bitcoin hit $ 68,000 after rising a few thousand and previously hitting a new high of $ 66,000 and far from a new record at $ 67,000. BTC has lost a few hundred dollars, but its market cap is only $ 1.3 trillion, with the dominance over altcoins increasing slightly to 43.7%. The second largest cryptocurrency also posted new record highs last day and a few days ago ETH fell below the USD 4,500 mark, with the bulls pushing up and back north. The last bull run resulted in ETH reaching $ 4,860, becoming the new ATH.
Solana, Ripple, Binance Coin and Polkadot also rose, with Terra and Shiba Inu adding around 4% in value. Cardano was the biggest winner among the top 10 coins, up 12% to $ 2.30. Litecoin was up 19% in one day, but DOGE and AVAX were down slightly. Other gains were seen in the base attention token as it increased by 23%, loopring 39%, livepeer by 56%, helium by 23%, vechain by 13%, histogram by 10% and DAO curve by 11%. Data from CoinGecko shows that crypto market capitalization also hit a new record, reaching $ 3.1 trillion.
