How Does It Work?
Using free-to-play features, you can earn tokens and real money in MetaDerby, a play-to-earn virtual horse racing metaverse. You can engage in the following activities to optimize your profits in MetaDerby:

To begin a race, a player must first pick a horse from which to compete, the horse will be automatically matched into a race depending on its class classification. Class 1 is the strongest, while Class 5 is the weakest of the five classes.
Once you’ve chosen your horse, you’ll need to pay a set amount of entry fees to secure your position in a race. Twelve horses will participate in a single race. These sums will then be combined to create a reward pool. To ensure the race’s integrity, the MetaDerby team does not deduct any commission from the prize pool. That means, the winning players will get a full refund of their entry fees.
Horse Breeding
Breeding is an important part of the MetaDerby ecosystem and a game element. As in the real world, you can breed two racehorses together to have a new horse. In MetaDerby, you can help breed your racehorses and have a new offspring. To do this, a MetaDerby Wallet must have enough HOOF in order for you to own at least one male or one female racehorse.
Breeding is just like MetaDerby’s other game elements, like racing. You need to use skill and strategy to get the most out of your racehorse as a legacy and champion, your own legacy as a champion stable owner (known for breeding champion racehorses), and the profitability of your stable.
NFTs Marketplace
DerbyTicket NFTs are a very limited edition of 1000 NFTs available only on Avalanche. DerbyTicket NFTs provide players with a racehorse that is fully outfitted and ready to participate in the MetaDerby game.
On the MetaDerby marketplace, players can buy, sell, and trade their racehorse NFTs, as well as on third-party markets. Racehorses can also be acquired through in-game Mystery Box purchases, with both Common and Legendary Box options available.
