Solana NFT’s 2 row collections declare cease and desist orders for anyone creating DeGods and y00ts derivatives.
On December 10, Frank, the founder of leading NFTs DeGods and y00ts, said that DeGods and y00ts no longer support any derivative NFTs, and will order the cessation and cancellation of any projects that generate out derivatives of DeGods and y00ts.
It believes that 99.9% of NFT CryptoPunks derivatives Larva Labs OpenSea CryptoPhunks y00ts BAYC also have many similarities. Over the past month Solana NFT hasn’t been affected too much by the crash in Degods and y00ts trading volumes still up 34.34% and 45.18% respectively.
As was updated in an earlier Coincu News article, On December 5th, the Twitter community was extremely agitated by the information released by the account “@functi0nZer0” about another negative development that had just occurred for Solana. Accordingly, this account said that a project built on Solana was allegedly asking the Solana Foundation – the development organization for Solana to pay them a ransom of $5 million in order for the project to continue to exist on the Solana ecosystem.
DeGods and y00ts are the two most suspected names. However, there is no official information to correct or speak about the incident.
