Bitcoin was rejected at $ 59 when it tried to break above $ 59,000 but failed again and then lost several thousand dollars while most altcoins stalled on a daily scale. Terra is one of the youngest performers, leading it to a new all-time high of $ 65. Bitcoin started an impressive rally as it added more than $ 4,000 in just a few hours and broke the $ 58,000 mark. Shortly thereafter, this cryptocurrency challenged $ 59,000 for the first time in a week, but to no avail. After the rejection, BTC tried again, but then broke the $ 59,000 line when the bears rose and pushed them south.
The same scenario repeated again when Bitcoin traded around $ 57,000 before rebounding to hit $ 59,000. However, it failed to conquer and fell below $ 56,000 a few hours later. It has some ground now and then reclaimed around $ 57,000 with a market cap of less than $ 1.1 trillion and a dominance over altcoins of less than 41%. The second largest cryptocurrency lost 1% and hit a new all-time high a day ago, but it didn’t go above $ 4800 but was rejected then and the bears are gone now. Binance Coin lost a similar percentage of 3% and is trading for $ 620. Cardano is down 3%, Ripple is down 3%, Avalanche is down 6%, followed by Shiba with a similar percentage.
In contrast, Solana and DOGE have slight gains, with Terra being the best performer after double-digit gains, while LUNA hit a new all-time high a few hours ago at $ 65, up 60% in a week. More returns were seen from stacks up 27%, Curve Dao tokens 19%, Voyager tokens 35% and MATIC 13%.
