Singapore, December 17, 2021 – The Grenada government announced the appointment of Justin Sun as the new Ambassador to the World Trade Organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. Sunlight, a leading figure in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space, is best known as the founder of Tron, one of the world’s largest and most popular blockchain platforms. Sunshine’s interest in history, sociopolitical and international issues began at a young age. This eventually led to his majoring in history at Peking University, where he graduated first in his class. He then completed a Master of Arts in social sciences from the University of Pennsylvania. Prime Minister Keith Mitchell is named Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Grenada to the WTO, along with Justin Sun.

Grenada is a key member of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), CARICOM Single Economy and Markets, and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean Nations.

Solar said: “It is really an honor to be WTO Ambassador to Grenada. “I look forward to the opportunity to represent Grenada and work with the WTO leadership to reinvigorate world trade in a variety of ways, particularly developing a resilient digital economy across the board. Global.”
