Wolf & Company Now Accepts $SHIB, $DOGE and Others as Payment for Its Services

Wolf & Company, a top 100 accounting company based in Boston, has recently begun accepting bitcoin, SHIB payments through BitPay, a renowned payment processor. Meme-inspired cryptoassets like Shiba Inu ($SHIB) and Dogecoin ($DOGE) are among the assets it accepts.

According to an announcement the firm published, its team is “already working on the cutting edge of cryptocurrency services” as it moves to be “truly embracing crypto and its growing role in the economy.”

The announcement adds that Wolf offers “expertise in numerous services to those in the cryptocurrency space” including audits, tax, compliance, cybersecurity, and smart contracts.

The accounting firm dates back more than a century and thanks to its use of BitPay it accepts numerous cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin ($BTC), Ethereum ($ETH), Litecoin ($LTC), the meme-inspired cryptocurrencies mentioned above, and numerous stablecoins pegged to the U.S. dollar.

The announcement came shortly after XcelTrip, a “next-gem, decentralized, travel booking platform” that is powered by blockchain technology, added support for payments in the meme-inspired cryptocurrency Shiba Inu to its platform as the cryptocurrency’s adoption keeps on growing.

Earlier this month, a partnership between Lavu, a leading worldwide restaurant software and payments solution provider, and Verifone, a Fintech payments organization, announced that thousands of restaurants in 65 countries will be able to accept multiple cryptos as payment methods, including Shiba Inu.

Shiba Inu was enabled as a payment mechanism at Binance-backed trip booking company Travala late last year

Over 2.2 million properties are available across 90,000 destinations in 230 countries and territories on the platform.

Shiba Inu’s soaring popularity coincides with Shytoshi Kusama, the project’s principal creator, teasing a forthcoming reveal that will “floor everyone.”
